5 /5 Mishamoo23: Fantastic pub! We visited at the weekend as a party of nine and the team were incredibly accommodating and helpful from start to finish. We sat upstairs in the restaurant, which is absolutely lovely, with gorgeous lighting and a great atmosphere. The Thai food was outstanding, and the happy hour on cocktails and prosecco was a really nice touch. Great value, a brilliant experience, and a wonderful traditional pub run by a fantastic team. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Brian Coomber: The staff could not have been more helpful in support of a small one off event for 20 to 30 people. Buffet was excellent and more than enough to satisfy needs. Great selection of beer and spirits. Extremely attentive and polite staff - lovely old pub atmosphere.

2 /5 Emma Fletcher: Overhyped unfortunately. OK so we take the last slot to eat a Sunday dish but my goodness I wouldnt serve what we had for free. Incredibly salty and literally swimming in gravy!! Plenty of flavoursome meat but minuscule veg portion and a tough Yorkshire pudding. The places felt like a chain and not like a pub at all. Veru disappointed as we are both HUGE Fullers fans. We may return to try the Thai but it wont be a priority regrettably.

5 /5 Benjamin Varamo: What a pub. Popped in after walking the Chess Valley walk, fire place going, exposed wooden beams, low ceilings and a dart board. It was so inviting I didnt want to leave again, oh and the food is top tier. Great Thai menu. Do yourself a favour and stop by if you are in the area.
