The Terrace Cafe - (Near Kent, South East)

Benjamin Cawdery highly recommend coming here! we always love coming back to this place, the service is always great and the pizzas are incredible! I’m a coeliac and the gluten free pizzas are always good. Our server tonight Isabelle was brilliant!

aswathy suresh A Hidden Gem by the Sea! This cafe by the boating pool is such a peaceful spot — perfect for a quiet break. The Seaview is stunning, and the whole place has a calm, relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The food is fresh, tasty, and clearly made with care. Everything feels local and authentic, from the menu to the friendly staff. A lovely place to unwind with a coffee or meal while soaking in the sea breeze. Highly recommended if youre looking for something away from the usual crowds.

Jack King Went for the first time tonight as recommended to my wife Cat. We were greeted by Leonardo and his team. They were friendly and cheerful from the moment we walked in. They were brilliant with our 4 year old, talking to him, telling him about the food and drinks so that he felt really involved as well. The food was great, I had the Polpettone, my wife had the Naples lasagna. Both were extraordinary, the lasagna the best me and Cat have tasted. Good generous portions sizes too. Followed by tiramisu and affogato, served with a great espresso, not overly bitter with great flavour too. Will definitely be back and would love to try every item on the menu! At the end as well we were invited to see hello and pass on our thanks to the chefs which made our sons day.

Chrissy Grainger Excellent delicious food and lovely service, amazing value for money too. This was our first visit to Canterbury. We enjoy Thai cuisine so thought wed give it a try. We ate early on a Sunday evening so the restaurant was quiet, hence 4 out of 5 star rating for atmosphere. I would happily eat here again and glad we chose it over the much more expensive Ivy restaurant (which we enjoy also).

Andy Shearman Just returned from a 3 night stay. Ideally positioned to explore a lovely old character English town. Paul and his staff are very friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious, from the breakfast to lunch and the Sunday roast. Shout out to the chefs. Will definitely return if just for the kind hospitality all staff showed during our stay.
