5 /5 Susie Duncan: The Sunday Roast was up there with the tastiest Ive ever had. The crispy roast potatoes and delicious gravy were amazing. We had the Baked Alaska Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert, but couldnt finish it as we were so full! The staff were absolutely fantastic! Clearly highly trained as attention to detail was spot on and they were super attentive without being intrusive. With the set menu for 2 courses, one glass of wine and a Mocktail, the final bill was above average once the service charge of 12.5% was added, so I would not visit regularly. On a side note, loved the playlist! When Westchester Lady played I thought my playlist had connected to the system!!

3 /5 richard amero: We visited for the Sunday roast, which currently requires a two-course minimum at £45 per person. The service was quite slow, and it’s important to note that they are a cashless restaurant. The roast beef looked great but wasnt as tender as expected, and the roast potatoes were just average. However, the parsnip and celeriac puree and the "Black Bomber" cauliflower cheese were both excellent. The pulled rib of beef inside the Yorkshire pudding was way too salty. At this price point, the roast is hard to recommend, though the quality of the side dishes makes me want to try their a la carte menu in the future.

5 /5 Amber Hampton: This was the second time me dining at The Third Monkey and it did not disappoint. The vibes were nice and chill as it was a monday night but was perfect for our group outing for a birthday. The staff were friendly and attentive with lots of knowledge about the whole menu. The food was to die for with lots of delicious options to choose from. I went for the beef eclair followed by the poached halibut and to finish the sticky toffee pudding. Each dish was cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful. And of course the cocktails went down a treat! Highly recommend

3 /5 Vytautas Merkelis: I booked a table at The Third Monkey for Valentine’s Day and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We skipped starters and ordered the Chateaubriand for two (£65 per person), which was stated to require a 45-minute cooking time. Surprisingly, it arrived in around 5 minutes, well before the wine we had ordered. We asked for medium, but the beef came out very pink—closer to rare. While it was tender, my girlfriend didn’t enjoy it. For £130, the portion and sides felt underwhelming: a Caesar-style salad and two very small portions of chips. Considering this is Farnham and not central London, we expected better value. Dessert was the highlight—the sticky toffee pudding was excellent and well priced. However, the single espresso I ordered was served more like a ristretto. I do want to note that the service was good, and our waitress was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. We arrived at 19:15 and left by 20:10, and for Valentine’s Day the whole experience felt rushed rather than relaxed or special. Overall, it didn’t meet our expectations. We were looking forward to a romantic evening and were surprised that the entire experience felt quicker than ordering a takeaway.

5 /5 Alistair Duncan: We went to The Third Monkey to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It is a fairly new restaurant and we wanted to give it a go as the menu looked interesting. The food was excellent, the service was great and it had a good range of quality wines. I can thoroughly recommend the Sticky Beef and Bone Marrow Eclair which was delicious. For main the monkfish was terrific; fresh and not overcooked. Not the cheapest place in town but the standard is high so definitely worth going for a special occasion.
