5 /5 christopher pay: We had a lovely weekend stay in a very clean and comfortable accessible room behind the main building. Chocolates, classical music and a personal welcome greeted us in our room, which was a very thoughtful touch. Lovely, friendly staff, nice casual atmosphere, great location on Dorking’s Main Street, with easy access to all local pubs and restaurants. Although the pub restaurant is very good, so you don’t need to go anywhere else if you just want flop! Will certainly return when the weather improves…

5 /5 Criz: Fantastic place with wonderful details in the building and the interior design. Food was good, room was good, the servers during meals were good If check in and check out service was warmer, I would have given it a perfect score. There wasn’t anyone at the check in counter during both our check in and check out. We were directed to the restaurant reception. I felt I was imposing on their time. Warm hospitality here would have made the stay perfect

5 /5 fairfield09: Had lunch on a wet Wednesday, lovely place inside, beautiful restaurant area though outside looks like a typical pub. Excellent, friendly and professional service. Food was exceptional. I can be picky if something isnt quite right and cant fault the meal at all. Chicken, ham & leek pie - small but well filled, delicious and wonderfully crisp pastry. The broccoli spears with it were tasty and perfectly cooked, lovely accompanying sauce and smooth mash. The burger was also highly rated, very substantial and tasty. Very impressive all round and would highly recommend.

3 /5 gavin charlesworth: Weve had lunch or dinner here many times. When it first reopened as an Heartwood Inn the food and service were superb.......unfortunately for us and in our experience the quality of service has diminished over time and I feel the food quality and cooking flare has fallen too. My (favourite) soufle definitely felt precooked/ reheated even if that wasnt the case. That said the venue is great for Dorking just need to up their game back to previous heights!

5 /5 Annabel Smith: We spent a wonderful afternoon here for lunch. My friend and I were taken care of so well and they were especially so good with my dog. They provided a water bowl for him, gave him his own meal to have and lots of attention and fuss, which he loved! The food was delicious, as were the drinks and I couldn’t fault the service, we felt very taken care of and special. Our server was absolutely delightful, thank you so much for giving recommendations for the food and treating us so well! 10/10 - would definitely come back!
