Victoria Wan Had the set menu which was: - Snacks - sausage roll and sourdough bread. The pastry was beautifully flakey and the bread was high hydration with a good crust. - Starter - cheesey tart with salted egg yolk. The tart was crisp and the filling was very flavourful. - Main - hake with beans. - Dessert - dark chocolate with blood orange sorbet and EVOO. This was absolutely delicious, the blood orange cut through the richness of the chocolate. Service was friendly and attentive - thank you. Atmosphere was cosy and informal. Would highly recommend especially for a more informal setting.

T S We had the seven-course tasting menu and I swapped the mushroom risotto for a tomato dish. The service was attentive and friendly throughout. The scallops were delicious and paired perfectly with the romesco sauce. The duck was tender with just the right amount of juicy fat. A couple of small downsides were the bread, which tasted a bit like airplane bread, and the desserts, which were a little too sweet for my liking. Overall, it was a great meal, and everyone really enjoyed it. Good value for the price and I’ll definitely be back!

J Wetenhall The Duke is a fantastic venue for a party. We held an 18th birthday party in the marquee at the back of the pub and the landlord and his staff pulled out all the stops to make it a fantastic night. The party lighting in the marquee was spot on, drinks were ordered and delivered on demand into the marquee, the Chinese buffet was great, and there was a cocktail bar just outside the marquee. This is indeed Marlow’s hidden gem!

Kathryn Gorsuch Been coming to this giggling squid for over 10 years now. The food is always exceptional, the best salt and pepper squid there is! Tried a new sharer starter today which was delicious as always! Khwan and all the other staff were lovely

YUCEL YILMAZ Amazing experience, very friendly staff and first class customer service. Please try them out they have nice home made cakes as well. We have tasted homemade Chocolate Brownie, very delicious.
