Ivan Galt I got some chicken tenders on a whim as I had to wait for a train. Just finished them and Im highly satisfied. Great service, the serving was generous and the chicken was fried beautifully. I was also offered a choice of dips - the Nashville sauce was a good level of heat :) 5/5 cannot fault and would recommend to my mother.

DH Good value for money. Quick and easy service. You order at the till and food is on your table. We tried the fish meal and the £7 burger meal. Burger was delicious and tasted like a home-made BBQ burger. Fish was really nicely cooked too! They also have tons of sauces for you. Seats are comfortable and atmosphere is pleasant for short/longer stays. Only thing Id recommend would be to have menus on the tables.

hugh janus The food was so good and we got our starters free! the ramen and the pad thai were delicious and so were the gyoza and dim sum. the servers were very nice and theres lots of seating.

David Oxley The price of traditional fish and chips has sadly risen over the last couple of years, so its more of an occasional than a regular treat for us. That said, when its time for fish and chips, Star of the Sea serves up delicious, freshly battered cod (and other fish), and a generous-sized portion of tasty, crisp chips. Last week, we had a small cod in a bap, medium cod, and regular chips (plenty for two), for £19. Theres a good selection on the menu if you dont just want fish, including mushy peas :)

Catarina Ferreira I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere felt elegant and relaxed. We went for a late lunch on a Thursday, so it was quiet, just us and another table, which made the experience even more pleasant. The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. The only small downside is that, since the kitchen is open, you do leave with a fairly strong food smell on your clothes. Other than that, everything was truly enjoyable, and I’d definitely return.
