5 /5 Joshi Suman: Easily one of the top 3 restaurants in Hastings & St Leonards and maybe even no 1! Been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Incredible food, great music, cosy atmosphere & lovely owners. Definitely the restaurant of choice for special occasions. Can’t wait to go back!

5 /5 Russell: Had one of the best meals of my life here. The Polish owners were full of personality and clearly put a lot of love and effort into the food. We had a plethora of dishes but the cured mackerel and mushroom risotto stood out the most to us. The cured mackerel was magical and so unforgettable. We paired our food with some delicious white wine. I wish we could drop by regularly but as soon as we visit Hastings again, we will definitely come back. Cannot wait to visit again. Highly recommend.

5 /5 Cookie International: What a fantastic meal, full of flavour and character. A place you can visit for a midweek small bite or a Friday night full blowout; there is something for everybody here. It combines Polish dishes with familiar flavours that wrap you up like a luxury pillow. A charming, solid and well executed experience, with thoughtful cooking and real attention to detail. From pickles to golden chickpea fritters and pillowy pierogi, it is the kind of food that makes you smile.

5 /5 Louis M Wood: I can never normally be arsed leaving reviews, but I had to make an exception here. We dined at Bistro Albo last night (having been to their previous iteration Wavey Bar) and were blown away by the food... What this man is doing to those sauces needs to be studied. We had to consume mountains of bread to mop it all up, for it could not be left on the plate. Each dish was so unique and packed full of flavour. The smoked kielbasa with curry sauce was a standout, but everything was 10/10. The gorgeous boquerones (pictured), the sea bass, the flat iron steak... I just wish I had more room to try everything. Fantastic cocktails and wine, and lovely hosts. High competition in Hastings these days, but Bistro Albo goes easily to the top of the list. GET THE WORD OUT. Thanks for a brilliant meal.
