4 /5 WA JT: One of the tastiest sausage rolls I’ve had, served with a rather small but tasty portion of pumpkin salad. Nice but abit on the pricey side. The cafe was packed as it was a Saturday and service could be improved. Pets are allowed in, so this cafe might not appeal to everyone.
4 /5 Alex: At 1PM on Sunday the place was packed, but we were lucky someone was just leaving, so we did get a table. Looks like its very popular with locals: everyone was chatting with everyone else, except us, of course.
The cafe is nice and clean. Pancakes with compote were really nice.
5 /5 Drumlin: Food from a chains central kitchen can be a disaster - I still grieve over Cafe Rouge. BUT, Basil is different. I had the quiche with an antipasta salad. Both were exeptional, to the point that I think that the quiche is the best I have ever eaten. The service was also exceptional being very helpful and very friendly. The shop is clean and warm looking so our lunchtime exceeded expectations in all dimensions. Well done Tonbridge Basil.
Ben Davisson The BEST chicken shop I’ve ever been too. High quality, with mixture of spices and sauces for burgers chicken and salt. Service is flawless. Always smiling and they remember their regulars!
S. Mary (Ackerman23) Excellent food
Quick service
Beautiful decoration and very clean venue
Fairly priced. Delicious. Will come back, extremely satisfied!
Richard Nice quiet place by the river. Good selection of veggie options, and the food is presented and tastes great whilst the prices were still reasonable. It has outdoor seating too, that even on a cold grey day; it was still nice to sit there and have a tasty lunch.
