Polly Killingley I honestly don’t write reviews often, but Calong in Stoke Newington absolutely deserves one. From the moment we walked in, the service was *exceptional*. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely passionate about the food, the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table. Every recommendation was spot on, and they struck that perfect balance of being attentive without ever hovering. The food itself was incredible. Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully presented and packed with flavour. You can tell there’s real care and creativity behind the menu. What really stood out though was the atmosphere the team created. Relaxed, welcoming and quietly confident. It felt like the restaurant was running like a well-oiled machine but still with a very personal touch. It’s rare to find somewhere where both the food and the service are genuinely five-star, but Calong absolutely nails it. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in London in my life. Already looking forward to coming back.

Charley Winter We’ve just finished our meal for my birthday and I cannot fault it in any way. The service was next level. I had the fillet steak and it was the best steak I’ve had to date, without a doubt! The wine the waitress recommended was perfectly what I’d requested, and the overall experience was just perfect. Cannot thank the team enough. Next time we’re in Brighton, we’ll definitely be back!

James Wenman Held my 10yo birthday eats here today after enjoying Hollywood bowl on the same leisure park. The food is great and for 14 children’s meals with drinks and ice cream came to about £90 which we thought was good value. But the stand out for us today was the service. A warm reception with really helpful and attentive staff. A particular mention must be made for Parya and Paris who were just the best and made what can be a pretty stressful couple of hours an absolute breeze. Highly recommended.

Bruno Rodrigues Great Turkish food. We came in at 11 PM on a Sunday, so the store was empty and dishes were ready super fast. Waiters were understandably just waiting for their shift to end but were kind nevertheless. Everything was tasty and well presented; my favourite dish was the Muska Boregi, which is the triangular-shaped pastry that was stacked with tasty mozzarella.

I had an incredible experience at Worthing Indian Restaurant Café & Bar and I can honestly say it’s one of the best Indian dining spots I’ve been to in a long time. The moment you walk in, you feel welcomed with warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. Every dish was full of flavour, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The spices were perfectly balanced – rich, aromatic, and authentic without being overwhelming. I highly recommend trying the butter chicken, biryani, and garlic naan – next level delicious! You can taste the love and attention that goes into every plate. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. It’s rare to find that combination of top-quality food, excellent service, and great ambiance all in one place. Whether you’re local or just visiting Worthing, this place is a must-try! Peter Agathangelou Really one of the very best Italian restaurants I have been to. The food is very much based on the region of Puglia so dont expect the usual menu choices. The food was fantastic and Romeo our waiter was so engaging it all helped with the general experience. Highly recommend
