4 /5 Pierre: We popped into this local pizzeria for a quick lunch on a rainy Saturday and it was perfectly decent — nothing mind-blowing, but solid enough that wed probably return if were in the area.
The place has a nice casual vibe: wooden tables, some Italian music in the background, and friendly (if a bit rushed) staff. We ordered a classic Margherita and a Pepperoni to share, plus a couple of soft drinks.
The pizzas came out fairly quickly — thin-ish crust, which we like, with a good char on the edges from the oven. The tomato sauce was tasty and herby, mozzarella melted nicely without being greasy, and the pepperoni had decent spice. Nothing super fresh or artisanal like some of the fancy Neapolitan spots, but miles better than chain takeaway. One small gripe: the base got a bit soggy in the middle from the toppings, and it couldve used a touch more seasoning overall.
