5 /5 Henry Harman: It used to be a bit hit and miss a few years back, but the new management are fantastic, great local beer and cider. The food is really reliable, the Asian chicken salad is surprisingly amazing, and the portions for roast dinners are very generous.

5 /5 Callum: Came here from multiple recommendations and often drive by this sweet village pub. Beautiful area and charming atmosphere, especially in the sun with the beer garden! We ordered the roast beef and was asked how Id like it cooked - fantastic service as there arent many out there left that cater for individual taste! Everything was cooked to perfection. Charlie and the rest of the staff I met were very lovely and professional too. Wish I got a photo of our hot brownie dessert as it was 10/10 also. Fantastic and will be back for more!

5 /5 Bruno The Bear: A fantastic village pub. Which is dog friendly. The staff are very helpful and friendly. A big shout out to Paddy who was great and really looked after us. The food is outstanding and literally the best I have tasted in a pub. Hawkstone cider on tap and bottles of Howies cider behind the bar. You just cannot go wrong here! Plenty of car parking but if that gets ramo you can park in the road right outside. If only I lived in the village!
