Daniel nat123 Some things are not right. First, the establishment was listed as opening at 11:30, but it actually opened at 12:05. Second, the pizza I received did not match the picture I saw. I was disappointed. Paying for something and receiving something different is not acceptable. My money is still the same, and for €13.90, I expected better quality. As a pizza lover, I find this situation unsatisfactory. Ive been informed that the manager has changed, which is said to have affected the quality of the pizza. I just wanted to make it clear that it is not the same as what is shown in the photos.

Lianne Bayley We visited on Saturday 22nd November for my partners birthday with our two kids(8 and 11) I had been looking initially for somewhere that did full English breakfasts as the kids will eat that but then found reviews for this place which said they also did Thai food too!!! Win win. I phoned and reserved a table. The cafe itself is in quite a residential area but is a real hidden gem. The food was perfect. We had 2 breakfasts, both kids were extremely complimentary about the quality of the food and how well it was cooked and my partner and I got a pad Thai and masaman curry to share.... Oh my gosh, AMAZING. My partner loves chatting to the staff and got the whole back story about how the chef had worked with Thai chefs for 10 years. The food was delicious. He then had a papaya salad too which again was excellent. The two ladies were so welcoming and made us feel so at ease. They havent been at this venue for long. We wish them so much luck. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone. They have so much to offer on the menu, I would be amazed if there wasnt something to suit everyones tastes. A thoroughly lovely experience.

Caroline Macdonald Great staff, especially Emma the deputy manager, Josh and Amy. Very welcoming, efficient and pleasant. The staff work hard to keep the pub clean and the customers happy. Various forms of entertainment happen during the week and you can always get an affordable meal.

FH We stayed here again at the start of January, and can, yet again, thoroughly recommend it. There are numerous positives and a few of them are - its a charming old house, it has two wonderful (very different restaurants), our bedroom was very comfortable and attractive (excellent quality furnishings, very good shower, delicious frangipane tarts left out and fresh milk in the fridge). However the two most important positives about the Beacon are the truly fabulous views and the exceptional, charming, helpful staff.

Nicola Smith Went here with a group of friends and honestly—this is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Every dish was packed with flavour, beautifully spiced, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!
