1 /5 rachel: Weve been ordering from Lee House for a while and never had an issue until this evening. Only a small order of salt and pepper prawns and special fried rice. Had a few prawns and then tipped the rice onto the plate, started eating and found 2 short black hairs in it. Phoned them to be told to bring it back for a refund. Got there, the girl then started refusing to give us a refund saying we didnt know what we were talking about when we said we had the right to get a full refund. Left with prawns as apparently management refused to refund them as we had eaten 2 of them-they refunded the rice only. Very rude girl saying Weve never worked within hospitality as "the customer isnt right" when in fact we have.
Non of the staff wear hair nets despite this being one of the food hygiene regulations.
Never going back! Told them that, and the girl said "good, go round all the other establishments and see no one wears hair nets". Customer service is shocking!!! If you want questionable hair in your food, then this is the place for you! How they have a grade 5 for food hygiene is concerning.
