Daniel Lane Pub grub at its flavoursome, big-portioned, piping-hot finest. We had a wander round the stones at Avebury and topped up on some spiritualism, and this was the slap up delicious hot dinner we needed to see off the cold December day. Fire was burning, the pub dog was very welcoming, and the staff were lovely. 100% recommend. It even has a book exchange. Top stuff.

Daniel Lane Smashing little cafe. Had a coffee before our walk around the stones and it did the job well. Had some nice ice creams on sale that were particularly tempting but just too cold for me on that chilly December day. Great service.

We revisited today for lunch and had such a wonderful experience, the service was excellent, the food was really tasty, everything was a notch about that you’d expect at a pub, and the speed of service was unexpectedly quick too.
