5 /5 Nathaniel Mcneill: I have eaten from a lot of Indian restaurants local to Mulakat and the surrounding areas. And I can tell you that this is by far one of the best around. Went in a few weeks ago for a lamb biryani and was pleasantly surprised. This evening we went all out and got loads of food and it was all delicious. Staff are also very friendly. Price is very reasonable. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. Spot On! Thanks Mulakat.

5 /5 Justin Chaos: Mulakat is a real gem specialising in Bengali cuisine, with dishes from both India and Bangladesh. The restaurant itself is very pleasant, with tasteful decoration that adds to the atmosphere. The staff are impeccably dressed, polite, and attentive without ever being overbearing, which makes the whole experience feel that bit more refined. The food was excellent – I must admit I didn’t go in with particularly high expectations, but it managed to surprise me in the best possible way. Everything we ordered was well prepared and full of flavour. Prices are very reasonable, and the place is kept spotlessly clean, which is always reassuring. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable visit. I’ll certainly be returning and would recommend it to anyone looking for good Bengali food in a welcoming setting.

5 /5 Kaz: After hearing so many good things about Mulakat we finally decided to visit with our family of 10 and it was absolutely worth it. The staff were warm, friendly and incredibly attentive, making us feel welcome right away. The food was outstanding. From the starters to the mains, everything was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. We especially loved the chicken and lamb biryani, chicken malaya and the chef’s specialities, each dish was absolutely delicious. With great service and outstanding food, Mulakat has become one of my favourite Bangladeshi / Indian restaurants. Highly recommended and we will definitely be visiting again!

5 /5 Lionel Marsden: I’ve lived nearby for 20 years and Indian restaurants in this spot have always struggled but I thought I’d give it a go and I have to say I was very impressed. The curries were fantastic, the naan’s delicate, the lamb tender, and well balanced flavours. The price point incredibly reasonable even without the opening discount. Very well priced! Aside from the mushroom rice being very ghee heavy I’d say this is the best Indian in Muswell Hill currently and competes for affordable best in Haringey. Very excited to come again!

Arzoo Ahmed This is a beautifully authentic Syrian cafe with wonderful service and a cosy atmosphere. The falafel was super fresh - crispy and delicious, not dry as most falafel tends to be. The cheese spring rolls were perfectly balanced with sesame seeds and herbs. Already looking forward to my next visit - thank you!

Lucie Fisher We had a small reception here after our registry wedding at Woolwich town hall. Generally Souky was very helpful, in the build up to organising the wedding, always available and happy to meet in person. We ordered off the main catering menu but also hard additional bespoke food, I couldn’t fault any of it. Everyone’s at said how delicious the food was. Food was punctual, came out in a a nice flow so nothing went cold. The room had been presented really nicely, felt like a completely different place to when it was a pub. All of the staff were so friendly and ready to help any of our needs. We can’t thank you enough for helping us celebrate with our friends and family and making it such a stress free day. I would highly recommend for a smaller wedding ( we ended up having 90 people in two waves ) Thank you so much Souky and team!

Blanka Antošová Kejíková We had a late lunch here and everything was soooo gooood!!!! Papaya salad was big surprise. Delicious! And don’t miss the desert-creme brulle- yummy! Everything was very tasty and the staff was helpful with order. We will definitely come back!
