As a person who often cooks Chinese meals at home, let me say this: this £7,5 special fried rice is BANG ON THE SPOT. The wok hei, the meat, the spices - just an explosion in your mouth. The service was exceptionally quick - I just waited for about 3 minutes on a wee couch inside, and got what I ordered. Massive cheers to Sun Ya!

Jan Hlavička A delightful venue nestled along the river Lea. We visited on a Friday at around 5pm and were pleasantly surprised to find ample seating still available. The atmosphere is effortlessly laid back, with generous space that accommodates spontaneous visits, though I would still advise arriving early to secure a spot. The drinks selection is impressively broad, catering to all tastes with a diverse array of beers and well balanced cocktails. Our food arrived promptly and each dish was executed with care and confidence. A small but important note: be sure to take your table number when ordering at the bar to avoid any unnecessary back and forth. I look forward to returning.

Christa Bloom Came in the evening and it was great. Amazing fine dining level food and an excellent small wine list for a fantastic price. The menu is vegetable focussed and super accessible, no weird fake meats, just great cooking. Warm service, relaxed vibe, highly recommended.

I was delighted to learn it’s a family-run business—Sayed and his brothers welcomed every guest with genuine warmth and gracious hospitality. damien walters We had an amazing meal at Mexican Seoul in Victoria Park and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. We ordered everything on the menu and every single dish delivered. The Tuna Tostada was a real standout — super fresh, beautifully balanced and packed with flavour. Both tacos were incredible too. The Spicy Pork Belly was rich and perfectly cooked with just the right kick, and the Bulgogi Beef was so tender and full of that deep, sweet soy flavour. Proper flavour bombs. The wings definitely deserve their awards — especially the Honey Buffalo and Gochu-Gang. Even the Korean Fried Cauli Bites were crispy and packed with flavour. The Elote Ribs and Choriquezo were indulgent and delicious. Anna looked after us and she was amazing — friendly, attentive and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is spacious but still has a lovely cosy vibe. Great atmosphere all round. We’ll definitely be back!
