Alan Hunsdale ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Old Bank is an absolutely fantastic pub and hands down our favourite local. Gail the landlord is great fun and always makes everyone feel welcome – you can tell she genuinely cares about the place and the people in it. The food is consistently spot on, and Emma is without a doubt the best barmaid around – friendly, quick, and always up for a laugh. It’s always a great night in there, whether you’re popping in for a quiet pint or settling in for a proper session. The atmosphere is brilliant and there’s always good banter. We can’t wait for the World Cup to roll around so we can enjoy a few beers and soak up the atmosphere. We love this place, long may it continue!

xian wu OMG!!! Sooo good, it was INCREDIBLY delicious I went with an empty stomach and went out with a warm, full to the brim stomach! The food was really warm, it was quick and was elegantly laid out, I almost couldn’t bear to eat it! (But I’m glad i did! :D) This was a fabulous Chinese restaurant and should definitely be your new go to! There is also karaoke, ice cream and so much more! The waitresses were easy to talk to which also made the experience so much more welcoming! This was my first time coming and definitely NOT my last!!! Will be back soon!! Matthew Aleandri Ive lived in Sutton for years, but I had never been here before! Which is odd, because I love Thai food! I went eventually went here one Saturday evening with some friends, and the overall experience was positive! For my starter, I went for the deep-fried calamari for £7.95. They were fantastic! There was a good amount, and they werent chewy or hard, and the batter was crispy and light! The perfect starter! For my main, I chose the chicken Massaman (£13.95) and coconut rice (£4.95) to go with it...again a lovely dish! The curry was creamy, flavoursome, and went down a treat with the generous portion of coconut rice, which wasnt too sweet. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, even though I felt it was a bit pricey...especially the rice. The staff were friendly and helpful, so if you enjoy Thai food, then this is definitely worth a visit! ;)

Joanna Watson We had a joint birthday party up in the loft. The staff as always were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. They even bought us both a baby Guiness. We love the Shinner and are so lucky it’s our local!

Marco Ciraolo The staff were friendly. The menu offers a variety of delicious traditional Greek dishes made with fresh ingredients. Everything was extremely tasty and served in generous portions. Highlights include the perfectly grilled souvlaki, courgette balls, and a delightful mezze platter with dips like tzatziki and hummus. For dessert, the baklava was exceptional.

M ILY Hidden Jem... BEST Halva Puri and proper Karak chai in Sutton. This place is special, Ive been walking past it for years thinking its a loaded potatoes place as its called "Fillings", then however I saw a poster of Halva Puri on the window and went in, they have the most amazing Halva Puri breakfast offer on at the moment, TWO Halva Puri breakfasts for the price of one(£7.50 at the time of this review)!!! The fried puris are fresh, you get small portions channa, potatoe/aubergine and halva, just enough for the two puris, very authentic and tasty. Order a karak chai with that and you have a complete tasty breakfast. 2 people can have breakfast with tea for around £12.50!! They also make very tasty samosa and aloo tikki chaats, their biryanis also look great... and all that with a FIVE STAR HYGIENE RATING!! Go before others discover this hidden gem and it becomes too busy!!!
