Charm Thai Dining -

H Such a great independent restaurant in the heart of Teddington. It only has around 15 tables so it was a fairly quiet and relaxing atmosphere when I visited. The menu had a good selection of vegetarian dishes and I was advised that vegan dishes were no problem - I think most of them were vegan by default. I tried vegetable gyoza, spring rolls, tofu in a slightly spicy coconut sauce, and stir fried broccoli in soy sauce, with steamed rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and served piping hot. Staff were friendly and really attentive, checking with us if we were ready for the main dishes when the plates from the starters were cleared. Prices were good. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 portions of rice, beers and a coffee came to ÂŁ60. Ill definitely be back.

Sheesh Mahal - Richmond upon Thames

Jubair Ahmed Me and my friends was so impressed by the quality and authenticity of the food here. The chicken tikka masala was absolutely delicious, rich, flavourful, and perfectly balanced, without that overpowering use of food colouring you often see elsewhere. You can really taste the freshness and the care that goes into every dish. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Easily one of the best Indian dining experiences I’ve had, can’t recommend it highly enough!

Bengal Brasserie -

Edward Barth This was our first experience at Bengal Brasserie. We ordered take away. Everything was still very hot when I arrived home with the food. We had 1 onion bhaji, 1 lamb samosa, 1 order of the chicken tikka masala, and 1 lamb ginger. Everything was AMAZING! Hard to pick a favorite out of any of them. Though I didnt dine in, the inside of the restaurant was also immaculate. Servers in vests and ties. Tables set perfectly with white tablecloth and red on top. A rose on each table. I arrived a few minutes before my food was ready and had the chance to speak with Abdul, who told me all about the history of the restaurant (open since 1986) which i also greatly enjoyed. All in all amazing first experience and cannot wait to try again!

Shahzad Choudhry I visited The Press Room Coffee today and was truly impressed — it’s easily one of the best coffee spots in Twickenham! I was invited by a good friend of mine from My Legal Solicitor for a meeting about an IT project, and we decided to catch up over coffee here. The coffee was absolutely amazing — rich, strong, and full of flavor. The staff were also very warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re in the area — a real local gem!

Mark The Gruyère and onion quiche is absolutely delicious. The milky cheese and softened caramelized onions melt in your mouth while the buttery crust offers the right amount of complimentary bite. The raclette pretzel is also one of the best I’ve had in London. Beautiful interior and attention to detail in every corner of the shop. Service is impeccable from every staff. A must visit in the area definitely!
