5 /5 RL: Delightfully surprising - British food well done with rare attention to detail and care. Date loaf was a great mix of temperatures and textures (crunchy edges). Lamb was very comforting backed by a buttery sauce against the liquorice flavour of fennel. The tartare sauce with the devilled sprats was fresh - dill with some crunchy sour vegetables. I don’t know if we just chose well or if every dish is done at such high quality. Will come again to find out.

4 /5 Federica M Micheli: Meaning to try this place for years but could never find a spot to reserve. Came for lunch on a beautiful winter day to enjoy a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. Food was simple but the pairings were original, you could taste the great quality of the ingredients, one of the best turbot I’ve ever tried. Only downside was the service where at times we couldn’t get the attention of the staff or there was some miscommunication when we asked for recommendations. Overall nice.

5 /5 Jason C: Returning again for a nice meal when I had some time to kill. A great spot to sit and grab a tasty meal in the shoreditch area. Great and helpful service, the heated patio was cozy and bustling. Food was excellent. I had the sea bass; nothing like a nicely cooked fresh fish filet with that crisp.

4 /5 Alicia P: Lovely place, great food, great atmosphere. The tuna was delicious so the mushrooms plate. The apple crumble was good, although I think it needs more custard. I need to come back and try the mains as they look good! I was very excited about trying this place because of the hype, however I was expecting a bit more.

The fish was slightly more salty than it needed to be but otherwise fine. Good when you want a break from my usual eating-out food made up of fish and chips, pizza, burgers, Chinese food and curries
