4 /5 Dominique Chiu: Location easy to find. Food was acceptable. Price is reasonable. Service staff is attentive. Ambience is great, though I must admit, the outdoor with heating is great but the food did not phot well..lol .everything is red.

5 /5 Paul Kennedy: Fantastic surf n turf. Steak medium rare and arrived with a lovely pink middle when cut in half, even when eating towards edge it kept a pink colouring and was easy to cut very little grissle or fat. The steak and peppercorn sauce really tasty lovely. The accompanying fries were tasty and crunch on outside making a gorgeous meal. Music provided a nice subtle background level of sound, you could easily have a conversation here without having to compete with it. All this despite being on a trading estate. Trading estates Im more familiar with have burger/sandwich vans doing the rounds, which you can also get here plus a theres the lunchtime offer.

3 /5 nayha: Despite good reviews i was disappointed at Smoky Boys. The food was lacklustre with poor presentation. Service was okay but it was a slow evening. There was only one other couple in the entire restaurant. I ordered the steak with prawns and as you can see from the photo it doesn’t look appealing. My partner ordered a burger and it arrived empty on the plate. Most places offer a free side or salad with a burger. The steak was overcooked as I asked for medium rare but it was brown and cooked through. Prawns were rubbery not tender. The mocktail was buy one get one free on the same drink, it was more of a smoothie than a drink, way too thick and garnished with too much fruit. The san sebastián cheesecake was dry and crumbly, not smooth. I won’t be visiting again. The only reason I went was because this is one of the few halal restaurants in the area.

5 /5 T Choudhury: Had the best service there, the team really explained the variety of sauces they have and how authentic and homemade it truly is which was lovely. Overall the service was super welcoming, all smiles and super accommodating! The food was also great, really enjoyed my food there!

1 /5 Ammar AL-Hadeethi: Yesterday we ordered the brisket wraps during their buy one get one free offer, but the experience was very disappointing. The wraps were basically filled with cabbage, salad, and sauces, with only a tiny piece of brisket that was almost impossible to find. It was embarrassing for me as I had a guest with me, and no one enjoyed it – we ended up cooking something else because the wraps were just salad with bread. For a place known for brisket, this was very poor and not what we expected.
