5 /5 Sandra Lambert: Stayed here for one night on my birthday with my hubby and everything was excellent. The food,staff,room ,everything was first class. The room was small but beautifully fitted out with everything you could want. Food was first class and staff were friendly and really helpful, must mention staff member Pete who looked after us from booking until retiring for night. Going to book again for hubbys birthday in October and would recommend to all.

5 /5 Bill Schwanitz: Our one-night stay at the White Lion was fantastic. Upon our arrival, staff members Peter and Zara greeted us with big friendly smiles. The next morning as we were departing, Zara handed me a map of the island that she had just printed and included hand-written notes about cool places to visit on the island. The breakfast was included in the price of the room and was very tasty. My only criticism was that our room was quite cold when we arrived and it took more than an hour for the heater warm it up. I would STRONGLY recommend staying at the White Lion.

5 /5 William Edwards: We recently had Sunday lunch at the The White Lion in Niton and it was honestly the best Sunday roast we’ve ever tasted. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed, with that perfect traditional pub feel. The food was absolutely outstanding. The meat was beautifully cooked and incredibly tender, the roast potatoes were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, and every element on the plate was packed with flavour. Even the gravy was exceptional! It was clear that everything was freshly prepared with real care and attention. We left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next visit we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. 5*

5 /5 Janet Rimmer: Great place to stay in a very pretty village. The room was warm, cosy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, best porridge Ive had. Staying on a Tuesday meant we werent able to eat dinner at the pub but based on the breakfast I definitely want to return and eat there.

5 /5 Raymond Attrill: There were 14 of us that had been walking and called in to the White Lion for our lunch. I had the soup of the day, carrot and coriander very tasty and my husband had the lamb lasagne, which came with a mixed leaf salad and chips, this was a very tasty dish. Prices were reasonable and the service was excellent and friendly.
