5 /5 Juliet Daniel: Lovely experience from start to finish. Our waitress was fabulous, so bubbly and enjoyed making a bit of conversation with us.
We tried the homemade mango lemonade and it was delicious. Full of flavour and not overly sweet.
The feta and honey was a perfect balance of sweet and savoury, and the right portion for two people.
I tried the lamb shank for my main, and it was phenomenal. The gravy was a real highlight. The potato underneath soaked up the extra. The lamb itself fell off the bone and was a generous portion.
We also tried the lamb & beef kebab. Not as good as the lamb shank, but still great texture and a nice subtle flavour.
My favourite part was dessert. The orange cake was to-die-for. It paired so beautifully with the vanilla ice cream which added that touch of creaminess to help mellow out the strength of the orange. The texture of the cake was so interesting, in a good way. Another item perfect for sharing between two people.
Its a great little gem in Norbiton.
