Liddington Hillfort - (Near , london)

4 /5 Andrew Foster: Its your typical iron age/bronze age ’castle’ I.e. Theres no structure other than the circular hill mounds. Dont let that stop you from visiting though, you great some lovely views and its only just off the Ridgeway path.

5 /5 Vijayakumar Dhanasekaran: Nice place, far from the town. Peaceful. Can go for a long walk. At times, there will be sheep grazing here. Good view of swindon town from here. Located at a elevation from the ground level. Has a viewing table at the top

4 /5 Nick Sandel: Hard to get to theres a lot of private land surrounding it and no parking. Look up how to find it via the star fort and its well worth the trip. Great views from the top over Swindon

4 /5 David Wain: Excellent walk please bear in mind it can get muddy and there are plenty of hills There are some wonderful views of Swindon and the ridgeway.

5 /5 Martin Jones: Well worth a visit... Beautiful views all around. Quite an uphill walk from the roadside where parking is available but limited to 3 or 4 cars. Follow the path up and around to the right. The hill fort is fenced all around and only access from the right side field. Go through the gate then follow fence line toward the hill fort then there is a 2nd gate to access the fort. Dont go straight toward the hill fort from the path or around from the left, its all barbed wire fence with no access. Starfish bunker is on the right at the top of the path to the hill. There is also a memorial site behind that of loved ones passed. Really nice area to wander around and take in the countryside. Give it a go!
