4 /5 Karen B: Nice peaceful area with pathways though woodlands. It is a bit hidden away and it is easier if you walk or get a bus as there is no car park (it is a short walk from the 154 bus route).
4 /5 David W: This is a nature reserve of secondary woodland, with a well maintained path around it and some benches. The entrance is by the roundabout at Diamond Jubilee Way and Damson Way. There is another path which comes out at the far end of Wellfield Gardens, passing beside a field where sheep are grazing. However there is no way out into Metcalfe Avenue so it is a bit difficult to include this wood in a longer walk into Oaks Park.
5 /5 Chrissi Matusevics: Theres a lot fenced off here at the moment the normal paths are clear and possibly wheel chair friendly as theyre solid too its a lovely place to spend an hour or so and some times theres even fairy doors there in the meadow
5 /5 Plantbased Munchies: Love this small wild space! Lots of different species of plants. Beautiful in spring and summer! Great for dog walking, foraging and exploring. However the path can get tight at some points and some wooded areas are fenced off to protect bulbs growing. So if you like lots of space this is not the best place. But it really is a beautiful hidden little spot.
5 /5 Laura Savage: Beautiful secluded small woodland, low level path ideal for pushchair and wheelchairs.
Theres a small pond and if your lucky early morning you may see deer. Xx
