Big Coz My fiance and I are staying at the Crown London Hotel. Ill be writing a review soon on the hotel because we are still currently at the hotel. We have 2 more days until checkout. So tonight after a long day of having fun in London we decided to keep it simple and have dinner at the restaurant attached to our hotel. So for starters the place is clean. The atmosphere lighting with very subtle music was very relaxing. The 2 waiters who took care of us Karan and Derek was very professional and attentive! The food was really good. We had buffalo wings and calamari for appetizers. The main meal was a beef burger with fries for my fiance and a very delicious fried chicken burger for myself. I substituted my fries for very freshly cooked broccoli as a side. All in all this was a perfect choice to finish out the night and not have to do anymore traveling just to eat.

Kat Really enjoyed the meal at the Reindeer cafe! They offer traditional canto style dishes at a very high standard. The charsiu was perfectly cooked with a good balance of fattiness and lean meat, with a subtle hint of sweetness from the honey. The roast duck was really tender and flavourful as well. The garlic choi sum was simple but delicious — well seasoned, not stiff or overcooked at all, and you can really taste the wok hei. Our highlight of the meal was the lamb hotpot, it was so tasty and the lamb literally just slides off the bone!! The portion size was generous so I’m glad that we brought some Tupperwares with us, wouldn’t want to waste any of this delicious food!! There’s a bakery in the cafe as well — we’ve particularly enjoyed the coconut peanut 糯米糍(mochi) and the egg tart. And oh! Don’t forget the milk tea too, which was made to perfection and perhaps even better than some of the 茶餐廳 I’ve been to in HK. Will definitely come back again for another meal!!

The desserts – especially the tiramisu – were indulgent and the ideal finale to the meal. The drinks selection complemented the food perfectly, with a curated list of Italian wines and refreshing cocktails that added to the overall experience. Service was warm, attentive, and professional. The staff created a welcoming environment, offering recommendations with genuine enthusiasm and ensuring that every detail of the visit felt seamless. What made the visit special was the combination of authentic Italian flavors, cozy atmosphere, and heartfelt hospitality. Dining at Giacomo’s felt less like a simple meal and more like being welcomed into a family kitchen. Overall, Giacomo’s is a must‑visit in London – a place where Italian tradition meets modern comfort, offering delicious food, great drinks, and a truly memorable dining experience.

Toby Trickett Sanzio is a place to go if you want to feel welcome, enjoy an amazing atmosphere, and eat delicious food. I cannot recommend the Croquettes with Truffle sauce enough, alongside all the other wonderful dishes there is to indulge in. You cannot go wrong with the zucchini fries, arancini, Pasta de Fungi e Pollo, and look out for the specials aswell. We tried the gnocchi on Specials and it was superb. You’ll find yourselves wanted to come back again and again just to try everything there is to offer on the menu. Staff are incredibly friendly and dietary requirements are happily catered for.
