The wait time is just far too long. When I visited with my friends, we even ordered our food early because we knew it would take a while. We spent time taking pictures and doing other things, but still the food wasn’t ready. And when it finally came, everything was cold except the plantain. The wings weren’t good, the yam fries were so cold (and came without sauce), and the whole platter just wasn’t enjoyable. We also had to keep chasing staff for sides like jollof rice and drinks, which made the experience even more frustrating.
One positive from that visit was the complimentary puff puff they gave us at the start ..it was delicious, so much so that I ordered more. But even that was delayed, and I still had to follow up before it came.
Today, I drove 15 minutes just to get the puff puff again. I called ahead, was told it would be ready in 10–15 minutes, and that they would call me when it was ready. No one called, so after about 10 minutes I just went in since I was nearby. They told me it was ready, but when I tried it there, it wasn’t good at all.. it was cold, oily, and tasted like it had been sitting out for too long. Really disappointing after making the trip.
For emphasis, I’ve added a picture of the puff puff I got when I first visited with my friends compared to the one I bought today (check the fourth slide). You can clearly see the difference ,today’s didn’t look fresh at all.
This is not to speak ill of anyone’s business but my honest experience and will definitely give it a try again if things should improve.
