5 /5 Melissa Holty: We dined at baboo ji tonight for a birthday dinner. We had a large group of 12 and we all ordered mains and sides and absolutely loved it all! The menu has a great range of vegetarian and vegan options as well as so many gluten free options. Staff were friendly and service was fast. They even provided a lovely dessert for the birthday boy. Would recommend!

3 /5 Golactico 1: Firstly, the food was excellent, as it always has been when weve eaten an Baboo Ji. Unfortunately, this visit was let down by the service and what Im afraid appeared to be a deliberate attempt to overcharge. We booked through the First Table app, which gives 50% discount on most menu items for an early evening booking. This was discussed and acknowledged by the waitress on our arrival. We ordered our food, including one dish that was excluded from the discount offer and we made it clear that we fully understood that full charge would be made for this one dish. The lovely food arrived in good time, although we had to chase up the naan bread, which arrived about 10 mins after wed started eating (no apology). The restaurant wasnt busy but we received no further visits to our table to check whether everything was OK or if we wanted more drinks/desserts/coffee etc. We eventually just asked for the bill and were presented with one charging full price for all items ordered. On pointing out that most of the items that we had were covered by the 50% discount, an amended, correctly discounted bill was presented a few minutes later. No apology was offered for the mistake, leading us to think that the initial bill was possibly an attempt to see if wed just not notice the error and pay up. I hope Im wrong, as this is a restaurant that is well worth supporting and Id like to think this isnt our last visit.
