Nicola Greco Guido’s Grill delivers an authentic experience. I can tell it’s the real deal because every time I visit, there are many Bolivian customers enjoying the food — always a good sign. The meat is excellent: high-quality cuts, perfectly seasoned, and the cooking is always exactly as requested. If you go, I definitely recommend trying the “Guido’s Grill” — mix grill . It is a great way to taste what the place does best. Overall, a fantastic spot for anyone who loves grilled meat and wants a genuine Bolivian touch.

Jonathan Frewin We were big fans of this place in its rustic former incarnation, so worried about the refurbishment, but fears were unfounded. It’s been done really tastefully and the food is better than we remembered it. Somehow the prices don’t seem to have been bumped up for the renovation either. The pork with black fungus, as well as the aubergine were particularly memorable.

Amy F Been to Blackboard twice now and really enjoyed it. I like the small, seasonal menu concept - it adds to the cosy vibe, like youre being invited come round to my place, this is what Im making. And as vegetarian, I can vouch that those options have been lovely and flavourful! The cocktails and wine are great, too. Highly recommended.

Leila Maria Ive been coming here since 2014 and the food and quality has been great consistently. The staff are lovely and accommodating and the food is just the best I dont care where I am. The décor and setting are stylised, quirky and comfortable. A wide menu with plenty of choices: breakfasts (Full English, American style pancakes), vegetarian/vegan options, fresh juices. Located in a nice spot in Camberwell, so good for a relaxed brunch or coffee meet-up. Outdoor seating and relaxed atmosphere: useful for groups or catching up. Pricing may be a bit higher than some nearby cafés. If I were recommending it: Go for a brunch or coffee meet-up with friends. The big breakfasts, pancakes and juice menu are strong. If you value photography / atmosphere, this place scores well (quirky décor + good light + outdoor). Try going a little earlier (say around 9-10 am) to avoid peak crowding and to get good seats outdoors (weather permitting). If youre after vegetarian/vegan options, it’s a good bet here. Ideal for a relaxed catch-up, working on a laptop or reading — but perhaps not the fastest service place if you’re in a rush.

Phoebe Worsnop Absolutely amazing rare beef pho, up there with the best I’ve ever had! The broth is incredible, so light but with such a depth of flavour. Can’t recommend enough. Pho usually only on the menu on Saturdays though! Lovely, friendly staff too. Banh mi also very good, nice selection of fillings and delicious iced and hot Vietnamese coffee.
