2 /5 Alastair Black: A really poor experience due to terrible serving staff. No attention or eye contact with guests. Didnt explain what dishes were and/or didnt know ( inexcusable with set taster menu). Staff leaning against walls, chatting amongst themselves, shirts untucked, sleeves un-buttoned. In a competitive sector staff need to realise no amount of reasonable food can make up for really poor customer engagement - level 3 NVQ? Who is instructing this? Mature retired guests are ladies and gentlemen not guys - get customer-centric and focussed. The older man from Engineering was the only one building rapport with customers

3 /5 Jackie: This restaurant is run my the students. They are nervous and lack confidence. Food is tasteless and we paid £30 each. The pictures on Google do not reflect the food we had. They tried but don’t expect too much. We had tasteless bread, dry carrots, undercooked Brussels. Don’t expect too much. I won’t return. Turkey was dry and tasteless. Dessert was good, however they didn’t make any provision for the dairy free guest and we informed them a couple of weeks in advance.

5 /5 Oliver Lester: So glad we managed to finally try Brooks. The food was very tasty, good quality and very good value for money. The students are the front of house and really put a lot of effort into the evening. Highly recommended and can’t wait to come back.
