Peter McCrindle This was, without a doubt, the best meal I had during my six weeks of visiting the UK. The total bill was €171 for three people, including the 10% service charge. This covered 3 starters, 3 mains, 2 desserts, and 4 glasses of wine—excellent value for the quality received. The service was first-class from the moment we arrived. We were immediately greeted and ushered to our pre-booked table. A standout detail was how quickly the water we requested arrived, which really bucked the trend; in the ten or so other restaurants I ate at, we often had to ask numerous times! The food was delicious, and the entire experience was flawless. I will absolutely return on my next visit. K Abraham Every Dec for the past 4 years I’ve been here for my friend’s birthday. The place is presented well - I love the zebra carpet upstairs. It is pricey but very nice food - the calamari is nice, I love the sauce put on it. The mains is filling if you choose kebab dish. I’ve had the mixed kebab which is served on a flatbread with loads of salad - the chicken is so nice and soft and the lamb tasty. This time there was entertainment of singers afterwards hosted by Arg and his band which was a great way to end the night.

GIRLS WHO DINE LDN We absolutely love this family run Turkish restaurant on Sidcup High Street. They offer a great lunchtime deal and an affordable dinner menu without compromising on flavour or presentation. Lovely cocktails at again a good price. The staff are warm, and genuinely embrace families coming together over delicious food. It also makes a lovely date night spot, or for a chilled birthday dinner. They also offer a bottomless house wine or beer deal. The best part is that the leftovers taste even better the next day — we need to know the secret seasoning! Girls Who Dine LDN approved!

Mishamoo23 Fantastic pub! We visited at the weekend as a party of nine and the team were incredibly accommodating and helpful from start to finish. We sat upstairs in the restaurant, which is absolutely lovely, with gorgeous lighting and a great atmosphere. The Thai food was outstanding, and the happy hour on cocktails and prosecco was a really nice touch. Great value, a brilliant experience, and a wonderful traditional pub run by a fantastic team. Highly recommend!

Shyla Puri Really good spot! Food came out fast and was incredibly tasty. Staff were super friendly and the vibe was great. Things can get a little lost in translation when ordering, but it’s part of the charm. Definitely coming back.

Angelos Intzes The food was absolutely amazing. It was all fresh and delicious. The staff were extremely generous, and they gave us a starter, desserts, and tea on the house. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the servers made it so much better. We have been to many Lebanese restaurants, and this was definitely the best, and we will be back. Everything came at a relatively cheap price. Recommended.
