1 /5 K White: My 1st experience sadly will be my last, portion sizes were very small and the size of the beef chunks were tiny for an adult meal. The meat pie was corn beef not so tasty. As an African I’m really disappointed.

5 /5 A Freeman: Ive tried all the jollof in new cross and this is the best so far, deep smoky flavour, light spice. The grilled chicken was good as well the plaintain is fried fresh and the price is right.

5 /5 Prima Donna: I ordered jollof rice & it came with chicken & plantain. The rice was seasoned to perfection. The plantain was fried well. The chicken had a lovely, crispy skin while the meat was still juicy. Not really a negative, but chicken looked like it was covered in stew (which i was excited about). To my surprise, it was covered in what tasted like BBQ sauce...? Either way, still good.

4 /5 Cy N: I was just passing and decided from look of the food pictured that I would give this a go. Really enjoyed the food. Genuine Nigerian jollof rice, tasty chicken with great tomato based spicy sauce, plantain and a tiny bit of salad all for £7.99 Nicely welcomed and served with a warm smile and greeting. If I happen to be visiting Goldsmiths College (just across the street) again, I will come for lunch again. Apparently they have only been opened for 3 months at the time of my eating here. They could do with more customers, as I was the only one, but maybe I had missed the lunchtime crowd as it was mid to late afternoon when I arrived.

5 /5 Tino M-Ze: The restaurant is brand new just a little bit over a month old. The owner is so lovely and understanding. Went there for the first time yesterday. The food was going to take up to 30 minutes so the owner offer me a Malta Guinness while I wait. I politely declined but he was so persistent. The food was prepared well and it was authentic African food which I hadn’t had food from home in a while.
