5 /5 Tony Town: I regard Chulo Thakali as a hidden gem of a restaurant, well worth a visit. My wife and I went for a valentines meal and the food was incredibly tasty. You could tell it was freshly prepared and they have a wide range of dishes on offer. I’m rating service as a 4 only because there was one waitress for 10 packed tables and she was rushed off her feet, but she was brilliant as a server and deserved her wage that night! Am definitely going again not only because I want to try some of their other dishes, but because it was good value for money. You won’t be disappointed.

5 /5 laura keep: Top quality freshly cooked food at a good price. We went here 14 of us for a birthday meal . The owner kindly played birthday music and happily allowed us to bring our own cakes. Thankyou for making it a fun evening

5 /5 Dheepa Balasundaram: Delicious Nepalese food. Went with friend for lunch. It was very quiet but the food was lovely. I had the fish thali and my friend had the veggie thali. Plenty of food, lots of variety and I enjoyed every mouthful. Service was great too.

4 /5 Olga McDonald: We went on a Tuesday evening so it wasnt very busy but the service was excellent, very prompt and the waiter explained the dishes that werent familiar to us. We had Mutton Butuwha and crispy Momo to start. The Mutton was very tasty and the momo had a lovely crunch to them. For main I had Fish Thakali Thali. That was a dish of fish in a tomato sauce, a daal and lots of pickles and fermented vegetables, served with rice. Very tasty and filling. My husband had mixed Ho Fan; a noodle stir fry which he really enjoyed. We had a couple of beers and a white wine and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely go back.
