ELI I am blown away at the exciting flavours and the quality of food presented. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. For my first time trying Kurdish or Iraqi food, I am hooked already and cant wait to eat here again soon. Personally, I think the food is way better than all the turkish restaurants in the area. You can tell they take more time to prepare the food and have better quality meat. Me and my friends came for a celebration and the service was warm and accommodating. Every dish was quality and prepared with love. The lamb shoulder was very soft. The side dishes such as the lentil soup and okra were all lovely, and the rice was packed with flavour. Big portions, so I saved the rest for home. Highly recommend here.

From the moment we walked in, the warm welcome and fresh, stylish decor set the tone for a perfect afternoon. The roast beef was the star of the show—tender, richly flavoured, and cooked to perfection. The Yorkshire puddings were golden and crisp, the roast potatoes beautifully seasoned with a satisfying crunch, and the vegetables? Surprisingly exceptional. Often overlooked, these were vibrant, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. And the gravy—oh, the gravy! Deeply savoury and clearly homemade, it tied everything together with finesse. Service was attentive and cheerful, even on a busy Sunday. If you’re craving a proper British roast with heart and flair, The Horseshoe is a must. Hats off to the team for creating a place that feels both elevated and welcoming. We’ll absolutely be back. PS chicken was good too.

maedeh bahari These Italian restaurants serve some of the best Italian pizza in the area—absolutely a must-try. The pizza is authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. On top of that, the hospitality is exemplary, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The cozy vibe adds to the experience and makes it a perfect spot for a relaxed, enjoyable meal. Highly recommended!

Laura Hall Was having a really hard day today feeling homesick so decided to go to Beans and Barley for a breather. Only ordered a coffee so my son (a toddler) could use the play area. Even so the staff were so nice and interacted with my son (he was dancing to their music) and even gave him a chocolate as we were leaving. (The coffee was good too.) It helped make a hard day a little easier.

Lily Walker super nice and speedy service ! tofu pad thai is my favourite in london and tried thai iced tea for the first time and loved it! love it here xxx
