Desi delights - (Near Merton, london)

Damian Lubanski Been eating from those guys for at least 11 years. Had massive break for few years but I remember when they started with tent and became their best customer. Would visit every Wednesday and Friday and sometimes Saturday to get my fix sorted. Would take me half of my lunch time but was worth it. Recently have changed jobs - and just changed again so Im not there anymore - and decided to see how are they doing since I was in the area. Turns out theyve taken over of local cafe. Food was still good but smaller portions and more expensive -what isnt those days? Chicken is always good, with pork you might get some fat pieces, has happened to me, but thats pork for you. Overall excellent simple tasty food, great service, support them if you can.

Vani Tolusuri ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is bursting with flavor, and the highlight for me was the Piri Piri Chicken with rice. It was served hot, tasty, and so satisfying – the perfect balance of spice and tenderness. The rice complemented the dish really well, making it a complete and comforting meal. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the overall vibe of the place made it a great dining experience. If you’re looking for something flavorful and filling, the Piri Piri Chicken and rice is a must-try!

Arif Khan Pepes is the regular go to for me. Met a friend here for dinner as we often do. Upgraded my fries to wedges, and it was great. Lovely mango and lime flavour half chicken with a drink. You do have to wait for your order but that is how you know it is cooked there and then. The sauce included, garlic mayo based, is lovely. Highly recommend this place.

Sofee E Have just finished a thoroughly enjoyable cod and chips with salt, lemon and extra vinegar. It was nicely presented in a box which kept it all hot and was easy to eat from. Chips were perfect as was the fish and batter. I ordered a small portion but there was plenty there. The restaurant was clean, the person who served us was friendly and efficient. All was freshly cooked and I would highly recommend a visit. Next time I will be eating in as the restaurant menu had jam roly poly on the menu with custard or ice cream.

Darth Coco Great quality fish and chips altogether. I had a large haddock (size was decent enough) and a regular portion of chips (size was decent enough). Priced reasonably (amid price inflation). Both staff members were very friendly and enjoyable to talk to, from start to end of being there. Highly recommend making the efforts to come here for fish and chips amongst Morden! Especially on a warm sunny day (like today, luckily). I dont remember having fish and chips on any Monday so far, so it adds to the experience for me, having intended on doing so :)

Juno Pen Arts My second visit in two weeks. The food is EXCEPTIONAL and delicious, I’m a chef and I know quality, they are on point with amazing flavours, cooked with love, soul, originality and authenticity. My favourite is the aubergine fries. I’ll be back again very soon, cannot recommend highly enough. Wonderful, courteous service, great value. Thank you Blue Junction
