Paul Shanley So very good. We went in for lunch yesterday and had a thali, a few sides, some bread - all exceptional. The server is a lovely guy. The wait time wasnt too long. The food looked great as well as tasting great. Pricing was reasonable. The best Indian food weve had out in a long time. Were going back for lunch again today.

It’s reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes, especially considering the variety on offer. Expect to pay around £25–30 per main, plus a few sides or starters. Chris Powell Had a cracking lasagna with chips today. Freshly cooked and tasted amazing. My dad had the chilli con carne and that was fantastic too. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be popping back

Enea Shehaj My girlfriend and I recently visited Gurkha Villa, and we had a fantastic experience. It was our first time trying authentic Nepalese food, and we really enjoyed every part of it. We ordered the garlic naan, onion bhaji, a Thai cuisine set, and chicken chowmein — and everything came out together, which was great as we could enjoy all the dishes at the same time and share everything while it was fresh and hot. The garlic naan was soft and full of flavour, perfect alongside the dishes. The onion bhaji was crispy and nicely spiced, while the Thai cuisine set offered a great variety and was beautifully presented. The chicken chowmein was packed with flavour, with tender chicken and perfectly cooked noodles. The portions were generous, the food tasted authentic, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming — perfect for a date night. It was a brilliant first introduction to Nepalese cuisine for us, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Gurkha Villa if you’re looking to try something different and delicious.
