5 /5 Si: A very attractive, large backstreet pub, with nice wood panelling, a cute garden and a pool table. They were showing football on the TV but it wasnt imposing. The Sunday roast was excellent (zero complaints there... The Yorkshires were brilliant) and the staff were very friendly. Id happily return.

4 /5 Clive Williams: Large group of us so we pre-ordered. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their meal except me. Three of the meals ordered were roast pork. Im not sure what happened to mine but the meat was overcooked and brittle, my wifes on the other hand was succulent and tender, nothing like what I was served. The third person also had no complaints. The desserts were very good, minor criticism on the rhubarb crumble, two out of the three orders were just crumble but the third order appeared to have to have the fruit from the other two; it was loaded. Overall it was a positive experience and I would dine there again.

5 /5 Denice Wisniewski: Visiting from America and ate lunch in this beautiful pub. The food was excellent. My son enjoyed his grilled chicken Caesar salad, the kids wolfed down their fish and chips and peas and my burger was outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and the staff was exceptionally welcoming. Highly recommend.
