W E (T) First of all I would like to thank Jacob for being a brilliant server on our day trip in. Myself and my partner came for a lovely lunch on the lunchtime set menu for our anniversary recently. The service of Jacob on this day was incredible. Making sure that everything was good and bought amazing service and had a lovely light conversation as well. He was sweet enough to bring us lovely little desserts to celebrate are anniversary. The lunch time menu was a lovely option for us who still want to enjoy our time at a fancy restaurant even on a budget. The atmosphere was lovely and the music was not too loud and a great selection of songs.

Caoimhe Oneill Loved it here!! Perfect for socialising but also if you are fancying a solo date, with 0 judgements and good vibes it’s great. Especially in the sun, and the food is delicious. Also reasonable price for such a filling meal in London. Would recommend to anybody. ( coming from a Michelin * trained chef ) it seemed to get busier moving into late lunch time but there seemed to always be atleast one table free from natural flow. Maybe book to be sure, I would expect a weekend to be very busy! I visited on a Wednesday at 1pm and there was a constant flow of a people coming and going.

Jerard Welch Visiting London on a work trip. I wanted to try some Indian Food from here since Ive heard its some of the best. The service was great. My server was very attentive and asked me about my tastes preferences. The menu can be a bit overwhelming because there are just so many options. The food was beyond amazing! The spice level was perfect at a medium. I could have went more, but I think it would take away the enjoyment of the meal. The main course was a lot. I think it be happy to have split the meal with one person. Id go here again when I visit in the future. Highly recommend!

Jose Jara-López I’d been wanting to try The Smoaking Goat for a long time, and we finally took the opportunity when some friends came to visit. It was absolutely worth the wait! First, I have to mention the great service. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and friendly. We couldn’t decide between 2 white wines, and she kindly brought us a glass of each to taste before choosing, such a thoughtful gesture! We ended up going with the 2023 Portuguese white, Intervalo Branco. We decided to share several dishes between the five of us, and ordered: Fried Chicken, Tom Yum and Pork, Massaman Bavette, Pad Phet Trout and Courgette, Squid and Salted Duck Egg with Courgette, Cabbage and Mushroom Soy Sauce, Daikon Som Tam, three House Rotis, Jasmine Rice, and BBQ Turmeric Gurnard. The only dish I wouldn’t particularly recommend was the Cabbage and Mushroom Soy Sauce. Everything else was fantastic! My top recommendations would be the BBQ Turmeric Gurnard, the Squid and Salted Duck Egg with Courgette, and especially the Massaman Bavette, which was the standout dish. The service was great, the food was amazing, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The open kitchen is a nice touch too - you can watch the chefs at work while you eat (if that’s your thing) Highly recommended!

kelly challice edwards Over priced for what you get. We had the roasts as a table of five people, two of us had the roast beef which was so tough you couldn’t even cut it and the Yorkshire pudding was awful too. Asked the waitress to take something off the bill as we were not able to eat it, the manager came over (short little bald man) and argued the toss over it and eventually stomped off, swearing under his breath and took a fiver off. Absolutely awful customer service from him and definitely suffered with little man syndrome. The rest of the staff were lovely. Unfortunately we will never be going back there. Wished we had of read the reviews before booking.
