Kendall Castor-Perry Victoria Spice opened on the site of the Indian Diner that was a fixture on Rochester Row for years. Theyve done a great job since theyve been open. If anything the food is even better. Tandoori and sauced dishes first class, and the real stars were the veggie sides - the saag bhaji (braised spinach with a little onion and seasoning) definitely a must-have for us from now on. Really friendly and attentive (as in paying attention!) staff. Great all round and highly recommended - thanks!

Dill Jones A class act. been coming here for my regular coffee treat and the odd lunch or event over the years, and while I don’t usually write reviews, Saturdays visit deserves my time here. I have gotten to know the team over the years and they have every bit of integrity and professionalism you want in your favourite haunt. I go back time and time again because I trust the team here. Saturday it seemed the whole world descended onto the beach and the lovely team were doing the usual runs. I sat and enjoyed the brilliant views, a glass of vino and waited (a little longer than usual) for my fish finger sandwich. Bliss! The wait doesn’t matter much when you have a sunny Saturday afternoon off, views like they have and a cold glass of wine. As I said I have gotten to know the team over the years, and I could see they were feeling a little defeated. Please remember… we are all going through a hard economic time right now. Hospitality is tough especially. If we want to keep enjoying these fantastic local spots, we owe it to the staff to give them grace and we owe ourselves a little less self importance and a lot more perspective. Keep it up all. Dan R Good range of beers available, and a lovely space in an old arch. Arch = good beer. Bonus points for having a black IPA on. A smallish fridge with reasonably priced cans to take away as well. There’s a QR code for ordering food to as well from a local business. I presume bringing your own would also be fine.

mark pjetri My family and I have been ordering from here for the last 3/4 years, and we have always found their food delicious and service incredible!!! I would recommend the beef in black bean sauce and Singapore noodles, really generous portion size too. 10/10!

Gavin Beynon What a wonderful meal. Food was amazing. We will go back again. Generous portions which is an unexpected and welcome change from other restaurants. Its not cheap but corners are not cut. Staff very friendly and attentive. They all appear to have a genuine interest if you are enjoying yourself. Well done and we will be back. A good reward scheme as well. Thank you for a memorable evening.
