There was plenty to choose, we both found a new favourite in the Japanese plumb brandy cocktails. All was thoughtfully and beautifully presented. I was grateful for the helpful staff. The team at Matsuba ensured a pleasant, tasty, leisurely evening date.

From the moment we walked in, the staff and owner greeted us with such warmth and genuine hospitality — they truly make you feel like part of the family. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. The food was exceptional — every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, authentic flavour. You can really taste the care and attention that goes into each plate. The service was attentive without ever feeling rushed, and it was clear the entire team takes great pride in what they do. It’s rare to find a restaurant where both the quality of the food and the kindness of the people are this outstanding.
