We’ve been a few times over the last two years, taking advantage of the EARLYBIRD50 offer, which gives you 50% off when you bowl before 11:00 on weekends. I’m not a morning person, but you can select the latest time slot of 10:50 and still benefit, so that meant we were able to bowl for under £20, with 3 adults and 2 children! This discount even works on the family bowling deal, which already gives you a saving of 5%, so it really is amazing value. You must purchase online in advance for these discounts. This particular visit was even better than normal as I won the game (haven’t played that well for ages) and I then enjoyed a couple of games of pool, which, again, I played really well in, winning the first, but losing the second. The other adults and kids in our group also had fun, playing some of the other games in the game area - air hockey is always a favourite. On this visit we had a couple of portions of onion rings and a bowl of fries, with soft drinks. The food is pretty basic but reasonably priced for this type of venue, which is also true of the soft drinks. Staff at the venue are friendly and helpful, it is well laid out and the noise levels are generally good, even in and around the game machines. The toilets, lane areas and tables are also kept well maintained. The venue is upstairs, with lift access and I’ve never known the lift to be out of service, which is reassuring for those who struggle with, or can’t use stairs. It’s also easy to navigate around inside and some lanes are fully accessible. Plenty of parking outside, which is free of charge. We really like it here and will keep coming.

Clare Warm welcome on arrival and the most attentive service from our lovely Italian waitress. The food was delicious, with a good size portion and veg inclusive in the meal price. Love the world map with invitation to overseas clientel to place a marker on where they have come from. Look forward to visiting again!

John Coles Went on a Tuesday early evening for supper. The Bar/Restaurant area is light but still holds an old world charm. The food and service was excellent, the waiter was such a bundle of energy. Highly recommend The Crown, Woodstock.

Elisabeth i sat down at mien tay expecting great food and those expectations were still surpassed. me and my dad came in here starving and i havent needed to eat for two days - it is very filling, the portion sizes are of incredible value.. you have been warned! the service was..how to say.. Minimal.... by which i mean very straight to the point, youre here for a delicious meal not for small talk with your waiter. had to call staff over rather than them coming to us but we didnt mind. starters were as good as we had heard, my dish (ginger duck + rice) was wonderful, flavourful, and hearty. it seems there is a lot of love going into this cooking.

Audrey Teo Friendly restaurant popular with the locals. We were greeted by a very friendly lady with a sparkly hair band and seated immediately. They are so hospitable here and the food was awesome. Generous portions and delicious grilled flavours. Fresh homemade bread is complimentary and we were also offered tea at the end of our meal. We really liked this place. They made us feel so welcome.
