5 /5 m berkeley: Excellent New Years Eve dinner at No.1. Waiting staff were friendly, professional and attentive on what was obviously a very busy evening. As vegetarians we only had one main course option but it was beautifully cooked and very tasty. All in all a pleasure to dine here.
Also, wner/chef had been very helpful in communication before booking around accommodating food intolerance.
Slightly different experience two mornings later for breakfast when fried eggs were burnt and hollandaise sauce on the florentine bore little resemblance to any previously had and not in a good way.
So, go for dinner!
