Lee Bowler This is a beautiful old pub that serves excellent beers and the best pizza you will find anywhere around here (Pats Pizza). The bar staff are very much on the ball, welcoming, knowledgeable, kind and funny. I’ve now made this my local as a newbe to Lewes. The front bar is small and cosy AF but there is loads of space at the back bar and in the fire place room. They also have an upstairs and a great terrace at the back for times of good weather. This is a must spot if you are coming to Lewes.

Rosa Yates I live 1 minute down the road from curry cottage yet didn’t know about it and I am so annoyed I didn’t find about about it sooner because the food is amazing!! Really well priced curry’s for how amazing they are! If you live near you it’s worth picking up the food as it is cooked so quickly and they give you a free beer or soft drink if you pick up. Couldn’t recommend it more

Tom Leon Always banging flavours, proper juicy meat, and the freshest ingredients every single time. You can taste the quality straight away, portions are spot on, prices are fair, and the service is always top tier. The boys there know what they’re doing real graft, real flavour. My go to spot in London, hands down. Shout out to Ozan who looked after my meal today!

Lewis Visitor from Oxford. Food was very nice, so much for the price. Everything in the pictures was ÂŁ20, and was incredibly filling I did not eat the milk cake until later. The mega box could easily feed two people. The mac and cheese is up there with the best Ive had, the donut smashburger was good, chips nicely seasoned. Wings good but a bit too sweet. I had to wait about 35 minutes which at the time annoyed me but after eating however it was worth the wait. A lot of reviews complaining about how its oily/greasy etc yes it is but what do these people expect when coming to a place that has croissants and donuts as buns. Its supposed to be that type of place. Woman behind the till very friendly and all the workers seem to get on with each other which is good to see in a kitchen. Definitely a every once in a while type meal. Will be coming again when Im back in Kentish town

M G I didnt get to try their food: They have Gluten Free base available, but they let me know that they bake in the same oven and they dont put on a tray separately when they bake so they are contaminated so if you are Celiac, they have salad option. But I wanted more than Salad that day :) The service was great (friendly people), Food looked amazing, the atmosphere was family friendly. The normal wheat Pizza my partner had apparently was "REALLY GOOD" so I highly recommend for those who have no allergies! :)
