5 /5 Gatter Gary: The just opened Poons takes Chinese cuisine to the next level. In London we are spoilt for choice when it comes to Chinese restaurants but Poons on Waterloo Bridge, inside Somerset house, is stunning on every level. The service was friendly and helpful, the restaurant was warm, welcoming and tastefully decorated with many photos showing off the Poons long and distinguished past. Ive added some photos to show the different dishes we tried. Everything was fresh, tasty, full of flavours and very morish. The scallops were the best Ive ever tasted. The The claypot rice, was recommended by my companion. He is from China and told me it is even better than any clay pot rice he had eaten in China.

5 /5 Mary Johnson: I ordered a few items from Poons, mainly for my mum whos from Hong Kong and is the best Cantonese cook I know! The different selection of sausages are so tasty and the condiments full of umami flavours. The parcel turned up beautifully packaged and arrived earlier than expected which was a bonus. Overall, even though on the more expensive side the quality of the products is totally worth it.

5 /5 Jo Hinks: Poons name seems to be on the lips of TV chefs and customers everywhere. I was tempted by mention of their eponymous Everything Everywhere Sauce, and bought a few items. My husbands remark of, that was delicious after I popped a desert spoon into a vegetable soup was well worth it. Gorgeous packaging too!

5 /5 Pauline Man: Placed my first order from Poons London on a whim of nostalgia in memory of my Dad and husband who both loved steamed lup cheung, lup yuk and rice in a clay pot. Happy memories of years ago. The gift box of sauces was beautiful and well packed. The meat and sausages had long dates. A very slick operation and a hand written note were a great surprise. Poons has definitely moved into the modern day! Im looking forward to visiting the restaurant at Somerset House! The only negative point was the DHL delivery. The tracking was difficult and the driver just put the parcel outside and did not attempt to knock the door even though I have a ring doorbell. However I will still order again as it was a 5* service from Poons
