1 /5 Shaz Khalish: Awful experience from start to finish. This restaurant is grossly overpriced for what it offers. The order was wrong, the food was undercooked, bland, and completely lacking in flavour, and nothing about the meal justified the prices. When these issues were raised, the staff were rude and dismissive, which only made the experience worse. Overall, it’s an embarrassment of a restaurant and one I would strongly advise avoiding.

5 /5 Raoul: This restaurant serves Indian cuisine with class yet at affordable prices. The menu has a lot of Bengali-oriented dishes; overall it accomodates for vegetarian and other diets, there is a great and interesting selection to choose from and enjoy. Samrat is a great choice, whether its lunch-for-two or a big group dinner celebration; alcoholic drinks are also on offer in this beautiful old-fashioned setting. On top of it all, the service is great.

5 /5 Terri Campbell: This is by far definitely the nicest Indian around London Canning Town. Chicken tikka masala is a must try with the Biriani veg curry and peshwari nann. I am very fussy when it comes to food but this place never fails me and always impresses my guest if we order a take out on a Saturday night . The quality of the meat is very good and the way it’s cooked to perfection is a delight .

5 /5 Graham Draper: Just back from a trip to Ireland, had a few pints in The Abbey (just down the road), was gonna get a takeaway but decide to eat in. Was not disappointed!! The food was gorgeous...I dont normally have any starter but was so hungry after getting in from the airport. So had sheek kebab, amazing. Then chicken Korma and a garlic naan, amazing!!! Then I had a dessert (which I never do cause Id be so full!?) Anyways had choc ice cream and it was sooo nice, helped cleanse the pallette mmmmm! So glad I went in!
