2 /5 Marta Lowicka: We have been regulars at Sapore Vero for nearly 10 years, which makes writing this review especially disappointing. We’ve always loved this place and recommended it to friends, but since the apparent change of ownership, the experience has sadly gone downhill.
We decided to give it a fair chance and have visited several times since the change. Unfortunately, the last three visits have been consistently poor. On one occasion, we waited 45 minutes for our pizzas. The quality of the food has also noticeably declined. I used to always order the Parma pizza - it was excellent - but now the “Parma” is thick, low-quality ham that’s nothing like proper Parma. It’s simply not the same standard we were used to.
On our most recent visit, we waited 25 minutes and weren’t even asked if we’d like drinks. Eventually, we just got up and left.
It feels like the restaurant has expanded into the neighbouring space without the staffing or kitchen capacity to handle the increased demand. The chefs seem overwhelmed, service is disorganised, and the whole experience feels chaotic. It’s disappointing because it comes across as prioritising volume and profit over quality and customer experience.
We don’t normally write negative reviews, especially for a place we’ve supported for so long, but it’s genuinely a shame to see such a noticeable decline. We really hope things improve.
