2 /5 Hazel I: To be frank, I was very disappointed with the ÂŁ25 container. I ordered prawns with vegetables and Attieke, which Ive never tried before; it tasted like a bland gari couscous with a sour aftertaste. Although I enjoyed the pepper sauce, the portion seemed small, especially considering it was labelled as containing vegetables, but only had a few bell peppers and onions. The location, situated beside a lounge on the main Old Kent Road near Asda, had an awkward entrance and wasnt wheelchair accessible. Be prepared for a 20-30 minute wait for takeaway.
Furthermore, the food easily fit into a medium-sized plastic container. It would be more honest of them to serve it in that, as its a more realistic portion. The hype surrounding it didnt live up to my expectations, which is disappointing as I was really looking forward to enjoying it.
