AJ I’m a regular at this Chaiiwala and always have a great experience. The chai and food are consistently great. A special mention to Sonia. She is very nice and always welcoming. She serves with a smile and makes you feel valued as a customer. Her friendly attitude is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Sara Montag Shahs Halal is one of my favorite spots when I’m in Uxbridge. The chicken salad box and falafel salad box were both amazing — the salad mix is super fresh, and the hot sauce definitely brings the heat! Great food, great prices, and really friendly service. Can’t recommend it enough!

Rositsa Gineva Super delicious food and traditional Afghan atmosphere! We loved it so much! It’s newly renovated and refreshed with a high level of cleanliness. Will definitely come back again with the family!

Kenta Fujii Had their Birria Tacos and it was delicious! There was so much filling that just two filled us up. The dipping soup they gave us added to the flavour as well. Highly recommend going here. Also if you go on TUESDAY they have a discount (2 tacos for £5.99) so I would recommend going Tuesday if possible.

Anam I have been a number of times since they’ve opened - and every single time I have had a Riyaan as my server I have had the best service! She is friendly and informative about the menu, happy to recommend and make suggestions, fast with responses and alert and attentive! And the epitome of service with a smile! The food is USUALLY delicious but when they’re busy can be a hit or miss or you end up waiting almost an hour for it. As one of the few dine in halal restaurants in Uxbridge high street - it is the best from the bunch so I can only pray this review helps them improve where they are lacking. The atmosphere is a vibe, warm and inviting. Great for a date night, family meal, or friends gathering. It’s not too loud or too quiet but you are seated close enough to people to hear their conversations if yours gets stale (not a problem I face). A family with a pram struggled to get through to their table and I had to stand in the middle of my meal to allow them to pass. (I am average sized in case you’re wondering) My take on our dishes; Plantain - love, hot and fresh, always good on the side. They do change the way the cut it everytime I go but who’s paying attention? Knockout box - delicious with a kick - had the wild herb flavour, would suggest with sides or starters for a full meal. All at steak - more chewy than anticipated, won’t be ordering this again. Halloumi fries - hot, fresh, tasty. More please! Lady fingers - ….. a bit torn as I usually LOVE theirs but last night the batter was chunkier than usual and they lacked salt and were basic but 4/5 times they’ve been finger licking - I’ll try again because they’re worth it! Previous dishes tried; We’ll have it all - and we did ! Licked our fingers clean kind of good! Afrikana salad - I don’t think the flavours complimented each other - and there is no other main salad, definitely need more greens on their menu! Chit chats and chicken - all delicious, comfortably a 4/5 person portion. Steak it on me - not a fan, feel their meat has too much fat for my liking. Afrikana fries - yes please! Jollof rice - definitely having it!

Alex Galatis The food is so nice here I’d really recommend coming if you fancy cheap, large portions and great food. I’ve been a number of times and ordered something different every time and kokoro never disappoints.
