5 /5 Carly Manville: I came for lunch with my husband to watch the football. As someone with allergies, I usually avoid eating out because I often don’t feel supported. However, today was completely different. Vicky was absolutely amazing — she was attentive, caring, and took the time to go through everything I could and couldn’t have. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made me feel completely at ease. When we ordered, she checked again to make sure everything was safe for my allergies, which doesn’t happen often. Vicky truly went above and beyond, and her level of care made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. We stayed for drinks and enjoyed the game, and I can’t thank her enough for making me feel so comfortable. Exceptional service.

5 /5 Nigel Tucker: We had an issue where one of our group is celiac and the kitchen was not gluten free, but the duty manager (Barbara) and the kitchen staff managed to provide a chicken salad with met our needs. The bar staff were extremely helpful and friendly as well.

5 /5 Tom Hunjan: I’ve eaten in a lot of hotel bars and got the beer gut to prove it. Shark Club however takes the trophy for best overall without being accompanied by the pretentious overpricing that seems to have swept this nation like a plague of money grabbing locusts. Good selection of bar snacks and main meals, with cocktails and soft drinks. Always a spare table and food doesn’t make you age a year whilst it arrives. Breakfast served here in the mornings is pretty good as well, so worth booking with your room. Staff excellent, attentive and flush with recommendations- especially Jacey who takes the time to chat with all the guests, swanning between tables with the easy camaraderie of a Hooters waitress.
