5 /5 Sam H: Service and food are up to par, a special place to enjoy your dinner, would be back if opportunity presents itself! Just be careful with Uber when getting out of there! Drivers like to drop you when they see better offer(s). I ended up paying 3 drivers and hoping to get reimbursed on one of the 2 that dropped me!

4 /5 Jay Man: (1st March 2026) The food and the establishment was excellent. The place felt cosy and most of the staff were friendly and attentive, EXCEPT one particular staff who served us at the beginning, she was blunt and the way she took our order was on borderline being rude. I first noticed it without saying anything, and then my wife said the same to me, which align with my feeling about the initial service. When this staff took our orders individually, she turned to my son and wife and said "and you?". It might sound petty, but it definitely felt as though we were too much hassle for her to attend to. To be honest, I think maybe she is foreign (I have nothing against foreigners as I am not native born in UK), so we didnt really want to make a fuss, or maybe shes just having a bad day. Hence 1 star has been knocked off. Lets talk about the positives, the establishment was very nice, homely and other staffs were excellent and genuine service with a smile. The food was very good. Weve spent just over £50 a head without any alcohol, which I thought was very reasonable for the quality. Overall, an excellent place to have a special occasion or your regular theatre night out, that particular staff maybe having a bad night, so it could be a one-off.

5 /5 Ryan T: After shopping in the city, we come for dinner as recommendation by Google. We are surprised by their food, their service and the atmosphere of the restaurant, simply but style. Their Italian cuisines are deliciousand we highly recommend the mussels, hake, spaghetti and desserts. Yummy！

5 /5 Shelley Hocking: Made a booking at Soleto in the afternoon and arrived in the evening greeted with a smile and guided to our table and from there the evening was just sublime. The food and service was just unchallenged. I didn’t even Ben manage to take photos of the food because it was gone before I even thought about it! The recommendations on the food were spot on! Portion sizes were great and food was simply delicious! Best dinner out in years! Absolutely no complaints here!! Not the cheapest but here you get what you pay for really applies. I expect the chef is worth his weight in gold as was the server and the host! We will be back!! Soooon….. Thank you for restoring our faith that there are still gems to find out there! Shel& Jay!

5 /5 George Kendrick: A near-perfect dining experience, with a wonderful, intimate and cosy atmosphere and friendly, passionate staff. Fantastic food and an incredible menu across seafood, steak, pasta and risotto. Wish I could come and try everything on the menu. A perfect option for pre-theatre show or an intimate date or small group dinner. A true white table cloth restaurant with high quality stone and glass wear. Next visit to Southampton must include dinner here!
