1 /5 Deborah McDonald: I have supported this new and local restaurant since it opened, however will NEVER return due to the extremely poor customer service experience received yesterday.
Having spent over ÂŁ50 on food for myself and my family, we arrived home to discover that 2 dishes were missing. We called Survivor and were told that there was nothing they could do about it, they would not deliver our missing dishes and said we had to return for them.
Upon returning we requested an extra dish for the inconvenience caused and were refused this. We asked to speak to the manager, who sadly was rude, unmannerly and discourteous towards us. She offered us a portion of plain rice, which was politely refused as we had already purchased 3 portions of rice. After much discussion and persuasion from us, they went in the back and gave us a portion of burnt, inedible jerk wings, which we assume would have been kept to be sold today.
After all of the hassle, the food we had purchased was cold, salty, greasy, clumpy, mediocre and extremely disappointing.
With many other restaurant choices available including the menu at Jerk Spice, Chingford, it is safe to say that we will not be returning to Survivor ever again. It is noted on other reviews that missing items seems to be a bit of a trend there.
We would recommend a training session for staff at Survivor on customer service/customer satisfaction, as following the dire and disgraceful service yesterday, you have now lost the custom of myself, all of my family and friends.
